The fifth year of midwifery studies begins
On October 1 and 2, 2025, Magdeburg University Hospital welcomed 16 new dual students to its midwifery program. This marked the start of the fifth year of academic training for midwives.

The first two days were spent on arrival and getting to know one another. In addition to organizational matters before the start of the practical assignments, the program also included a tour of the University Women's Hospital. A special highlight was the joint creation of a personal clay talisman, which will accompany the young women throughout their studies.
Over the next four years, the students will be prepared for their responsible profession both scientifically and practically. We wish our new students a successful start and much joy on their journey into midwifery science.
